March-ing right along...

We've been sampling Spring lately and look forward to indulging, once again, in nature's simple pleasure of sunshine all the time!  We've taken a couple of bike rides, played at the park, started preping the garden and Lans has begun pruning the fruit trees and other shrubs.  It feels, especially at this time in life, that many winter days are spent in wait for Spring. The luxury of a coat to a five and three year old is nothing but a hindrance and deters them from going outside to play. I can't tell you how many times, even in one day, that the suggestion of outside play is put down by the phrase, "I don't want to, I don't want to put a coat on!" Ask any Mom and she'll tell you it's not the opening of the blossom, the nesting robin, or the baby lamb. It's not the yellow flash of daffodil, wurr of lawn mower, or splay of tulip leaf that is the miracle of spring but the call to the child to play outside! Ah spring! It's a flood gate open for the soul's sanity.
