We've had a really eventful summer since Dane's birth. Two weeks after birth we celebrated my Mom's 60th birthday. It was a huge event that took months of planning and it really came off rather well. All siblings were in attendance, friends from out of town came, and the best part was that Mom was VERY surprised. The boys then had two weeks of swimming lessons, which they did fabulously in. The biggest success for Gage was swimming through the hula hoop without help and climbing down the "fireman's pole" to collect rings. Cole was successful at being totally comfortable climbing around the pool rim without his life vest. That stinker wasn't supposed to do that but that's why I enrolled him in lessons, he's got to learn to swim for my sanity and his life! Then, over the fourth we had family join us from Oregon, Utah, and Cascade as we blessed Dane on Sunday. After the festivities Gage went home with my parents and I had a couple days with Cole and Dane. Closing up this week we went swimming with some friends on Friday and today capped it all off with a trip to the lake to watch Daddy flounder around in the water to prepare for his triathlon.
